Where do we go with the caravan, how do we go?

Everyone's holiday understanding is different: some dream of enjoying the sea and unlimited food in "all inclusive" hotels, some take their backpacks and sleeping bags and hit the road. Caravans have recently started to be preferred by those who combine vacation with more freedom, exploration and comfort.

We wanted to make a few suggestions for those who will experience this experience for the first time by renting our caravan.

First of all, it is necessary to determine your needs according to how many days of vacation you are planning. With few but essential items, you will have the ability to move and you will be much more comfortable. We already have many materials that you need in our caravan. A few supplies and a bag of clothing will suffice.

Another important issue is yes, even though the first thing that comes to mind when talking about a caravan holiday is "let's go on the road and stop wherever we want", in fact, it should not be like that in practice.

Because an unlucky choice to make may be enough to poison your holiday. For this reason, for a pleasant holiday, you need to determine your route and places to stay in advance.

Below we will list a few routes that may inspire you for your holidays in Turkey.

Izmir and Its Surroundings

We thought that you might want to visit the nearby area, thinking that you would be leaving Izmir, and we wanted to start from Izmir first.

İzmir is actually a paradise for campers with its bays and sea. Foça, Urla, Seferihisar, Özdere are some of the seaside resorts you can go to.

Since the camps in these seaside resorts are crowded on weekends due to their proximity to the city, it is useful to call in advance and get information.

Some of the camps in Izmir:

Hippocamp - Özdere

Dereli - Pamucak

Tenedos

Let's continue with Bozcaada, one of my favourites. If you want to stay with a caravan in a facility in Bozcaada, which is beautiful in every season, you can go to Ada Camping, which is 300 meters from Ayazma Beach. Apart from that, Aquarium Bay, where you can enjoy very much thanks to its clear water as the name suggests.  However, there is no facility in and around the bay. For this reason, you have to go with supplies, and most importantly, do not forget to take your goggles and snorkel with you if you are going to the aquarium bay.

If you are going during the season, we recommend that you plan your departure and return schedule during the week, taking into account the intensity of the ferries.

Ayvalik / Cunda

It felt like we were sorting the titles according to our own favourites..

Cunda has always been special to us with its beautiful bays, narrow streets and delicacies.

You will experience both comfort and peace in the silence of Cunda in the camping areas with a view of the island of Lesbos.

Akyaka

Due to its location, Akyaka is a wonderful place where you can stay with your caravan in a forest near the sea, experience alternative water sports, and take walks in nature.

Since everyone is aware of these beauties, it is also one of the very, very busy places in the summer months. For this reason, we generally evaluate our Akyaka route in the autumn months. But if you want to go in the season and if you plan to stay in a facility with a caravan, we recommend that you book your place in advance.

Datca

Despite its proximity to Marmaris, Datça, known for its calmness and unique nature, has many coves where you can take a caravan and sleep with the sound of waves.

If you are thinking of staying in a facility, you should definitely stay at Aktur Camping, one of the award-winning campsites. However, since it is unfortunately difficult to find a place during the season, we recommend that you determine your route well in advance and book a place.

Assos

Camping in Assos, located at the foot of the Kaz Mountains, will definitely be one of the most beautiful experiences. You can swim in the clear waters of Assos, take long walks in nature, store oxygen and fall asleep in the shade with the sounds of birds.

There are also many campsites in Assos where you can stay with a caravan. Gargara Natural Holiday camp is just one of them..

Kusadasi

If you camp close to the center in Kuşadası, which is one of the favorite holiday destinations with its proximity to İzmir, you can easily visit the surrounding area. Kusadasi is also located at a point where different cultures meet, so you can turn your holiday into a historical and cultural tour.

Some camping sites in and around Kusadasi

Önder Camp - Kusadasi

Yacht Camping - Kusadasi

Dilek Peninsula - Kusadasi

Dereli Camping - Pamucak

Kas, one of the biggest districts of Antalya, is one of the most popular places for caravans. There are many camping areas in Kas, where you will find peace with its calmness. There is no need to mention the beauty of the sea, right?

Dalyan Mugla

Known for its King Tombs and Caretta Carettas, Dalyan is located in Ortaca district of MuÄŸla. We recommend you to see the Iztuzu Beach of Dalyan, which is the oxygen reservoir of the region.

Dalyan, which is beautiful in every season, is of course one of the popular locations for caravans. While you're at it, don't forget to stop by the ancient city of Kaunos.
