Kusadasi Travel Guide

Kuşadası is one of the important tourism centers of Turkey. The gulf where the island is located has hosted many different civilizations since ancient times.

Kusadasi National Park

The national park, where you can admire its magnificent nature and bays, is also a region where endangered plant and animal species live. In the area known as Dilek Peninsula National Park, about 209 bird species meet. 

Güzelçamlı Village, located to the north of the National Park, was used as the meeting place of the Panionion confederation of Ionia for centuries before history.

Ephesus Ancient City and House of Virgin Mary

Although Efe is actually within the borders of Selçuk district of Ä°zmir, we recommend that you do not return without visiting the Ancient City of Ephesus and the House of Virgin Mary due to its proximity to KuÅŸadası. 

The Ancient City was founded in 6000 BC and has hosted many civilizations.  

 

The House of Virgin Mary is the sanctuary in Bülbüldağı. There is also a small Byzantine church in the ruins of the Virgin Mary, which can be reached by continuing to walk from the upper gate of the ancient city of Ephesus.

Sirince

Åžirince, also known for its lush olive groves and winemaking, is an old Greek village. stone paved  After walking around its quaint streets  small  We are sure that you will want to take a rest in their cafe. While you're at it, don't forget to stop by Ali Nesin's Mathematics Village.

Pigeonada

Güvercinada Castle, one of the symbols of KuÅŸadası, was built by Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha. The 3 m high walls that completely surround the island were built by Ä°lyas AÄŸa.
